Security Advisory - Plone Vulnerability

The Plone Security team recently issued a important security advisory. It affects all Plone installations from version 2.5 right up to the latest Plone 4.

For those who host with us either on your own or leased server where we manage your Plone site, or as regular Plone hosting, we will take care of the update. This will occur on Tuesday 8th February at about 4pm which is the time the Plone Security Team has set for the release of the fix. For a little while before this, and until the fix is applied on your instance, logins will be disabled from your site as a security measure, so nobody will be able to login and edit your site during this time. This is to prevent someone looking at the fix and using that knowledge to gain entry to your site.
